Cringe-worthy slogans from the advertising bygone days. If I'm honest I think some of the modern advertising is as bad as these little gems.


	Venus Pencils Hmmm... We need a witty slogan for our pencils. What about "Always on Point Duty". Genius.


Phillips' Dental Magnesia Toothpaste "A 'Magnesia Smile' invites Romance."


	Macleans Tooth Paste "Did you Maclean your teeth to-day?" - One of the better ones, could still be used today. ;o)


Kolynos "half an inch goes a long way." - Enough said.


	Hoover Electric Washing Machine To think, this one was from the 1950s... "His Christmas gift to you - A Hoover Electric Washing Machine!" (disclaimer: do not try this at home)


Creamola "If Fairies Used Soap they'd use 'CREAMOLA'" - Why?
